ABOUT STEPHANIE
Hi, I’m Stephanie — a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC) and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BACB). I bring over 20 years of experience in behavioural health, supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. My background includes work in non-profit, public, and private settings, which has given me a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people find meaning, connection, and resilience.
My work includes support for families and individuals who have experienced life-altering illness, stress, anxiety and depression. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals with ADHD, ASD, and related challenges. My approach is collaborative and compassionate — I aim to meet clients where they are and create a safe, supportive space for growth and healing. I am passionate about using the therapeutic relationship to help families and individuals live their lives with joy and emotional security.
I believe that therapy works best when it honours the unique circumstances and strengths of each person. I have extensive experience working with children with various levels of communicative skills, and expertise in meeting each child where they are in a manner that fits their communication style and comfort level. I view caregivers as integral in the therapeutic process and strive to enhance the well-being of the family system by exploring attachment as well as assessing practical strategies and parenting skills.
Whether we’re exploring patterns within relationships, developing practical coping strategies, or deepening emotional awareness, my goal is to help you move toward greater well-being, joy, and emotional security. My focus is on supporting the whole person — helping you build meaningful connections and live a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
