Petrina utilizes several therapeutic approaches and integrates values of kindness and compassion across various counselling topics, including grief and loss, life transitions, and academic and career challenges. As a BIPOC woman, Petrina offers an understanding of race-based trauma and discrimination and an awareness of systemic inequalities rooted in colonialism. Petrina's hope is for clients to reach a state of being where their thoughts, emotions and actions are guided from a place of self-worthiness and true belonging to themselves.
