ABOUT CHANTAL

Chantal has over 15 years of experience working in the human services field, first as a social worker and now as a therapist. Chantal’s area of expertise and passion is working with youth, adults and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds who have experienced trauma, and who may struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss, interpersonal relationships and dysfunctional family dynamics. She has worked in rural communities in northern BC, Asia and Africa.

Creating a safe and trusting space through deep listening, empathy, compassion, genuine interest and care is at the centre of Chantal’s work. Her approach to well-being is holistic; connecting mind, body and heart. She is a trauma informed counsellor intent on working with each individual’s strengths and resources along with finding the right strategies to help each individual feel better, grow, transform and heal.
